The band was very specific in deciding how they were approaching the writing process. All 11 songs that eventually made it onto the album were written and worked on during the course of 2010. From Mid-May-Feb 2011, the band worked tirelessly to write songs they felt were worth recording. Prior to May 2010, the band had played numerous shows around the tri-state area building a reputation in Asbury Park, NJ and New Brunswick, NJ for their energetic live improvisation.
