Glen Serbin is an acoustic guitarist that follows the traditional folk and blues acoustic genre. The fingerpicking style Glen Serbin uses draws on blues and folk music for syncopated melodies. Many of the songs are in the finger picking style of Leo Kottke, John Fahey, Etta Baker and Paul Simon. The guitar featured on the cover and interior of Pure Acoustic is a Martin Guitar OM-18 circa 1932. Instruments used on this CD include several vintage Martin Guitars from Martin Guitar's Golden Era from 1932- 1939. Guitars played include a 1939 Martin 000-42, a 1935 Martin 0-18 and a 1932 Martin OM-18. Enjoy!
